We have been manufacturing mechanical and quartz watches in our family business in Pforzheim since 1924, now in the fourth generation. All project phases and production steps are carried out in-house: design, construction, prototyping, production of parts, surface treatment, laser engraving, assembly and inspection.

Watch- & Watch Cases | Since 1924

Karl Ickler was working as the head of the manufacturing department for a number of foreign companies. Armed with this invaluable cache of experience, he founded his own watchcase factory. In 1947, his two sons rebuilt the company, which had lain dormant during the war. Thomas Ickler was running the company since 1978 weiter. Today the company is managed by Lisa Ickler, the 4th generation of the family.

In-House production

Almost every part of an Ickler watch is developed and manufactured in-house: Design, Construction, Prototyping, Parts, Production, Surface finishing/treatment, Laser engraving, assembly, and quality control. Our experienced craftsmen use the latest high-tech CNC machinery, guaranteeing ultimate precision. When it comes to polishing the surfaces, assembling parts and complete watches, and thorough quality control, we set the highest priority on human touch and intuition.

Der hohe Qualitätsanspruch von ICKLER, in der technischen Ausführung sowie in der Formsprache basiert auf der langen Historie in der Uhrenbranche - diese geht zurück bis 1924 als die unabhängige, familiengeführte Traditionsfirma Ickler GmbH in Pforzheim gegründet wurde. Seither entstehen am Fuße des Schwarzwaldes hochwertige und alltagstaugliche Uhrengehäuse und Uhren Made in Germany.

Karl Ickler gründete das Familienunternehmen 1924 in Pforzheim. Er hatte zunächst als Fertigungsleiter in ausländischen Unternehmen gearbeitet. Diesen Schatz von Erfahrungen brachte Karl Ickler in seine Uhrgehäuse-Manufaktur ein. 1947 bauten die Söhne Heinz und Kurt Ickler, die während des Krieges brachliegende Produktion wieder auf. Thomas Ickler führte die Firma ab 1978 weiter. Heute leitet Lisa Ickler in 4. Generation das Unternehmen.
